What is the Project

There are three overlapping elements of this project:

• A survey (hard copy and online version) aimed at gathering demographic and detailed data about how skin lightening products are accessed and how they are used.
• The development of a national conversation about the use of skin lightening products, bringing together interested parties from public health, trading standards, the fashion industry, academia and community activists.
• The development of an online resource hub for people interested in studying and engaging with skin lightening -this website.
